If you browse through the topics listed, you'll find a thread named Philippine Forums, a multi-threaded discussion of some of the skyline defining developments found here in manila and other parts of the country. What's interesting to note is that even pesky sellers (that's me) seem to follow an "unwritten code" of no shameless vending within the confines of the thread.
But that's not what this website is about, it's a living discussion between buyers, prospective buyers and astute investors sharing their thoughts, ideas, worries, successes and milestones with their purchases of real estate assets in the philippines. If you look at the number of posts made (over 124,000) on the active threads and the posts found in the archives (1,392,000+, that's in millions!), you'll find that we filipinos do share that "bayanihan" and patriotic sense regardless of borders and visas.
It's important to remember that buying a condo isn't the same as buying a house. Condo life won't afford you the same liberties as life in a house. If you own a house and feel like building a new room onto the back for your home office, you've got other residents' needs to consider. You're not only forbidden to start building on to your unit, but chances are good you're probably sharing walls with your next-door neighbor, and well, he probably wouldn't look too kindly on it. So "owning" a condo means you own your possessions inside of it and to a certain extent, the floor and ceiling.
